Workshop Highlights:The workshop will introduce the main components of self-regulated learning from an applied perspective, with a special focus on school-based learning. Through discussion and knowledge exchange, teachers will acquire knowledge on whether and how self-regulated learning can be improved in the classroom through practice and targeted training. Key principles and practical examples of the successful training of self-regulated learning in school lessons will also be introduced.

Parents will gain a better understanding in whether and how self-regulated learning can be improved at home through practice and targeted training. Key principles and practical examples of the successful training of self-regulated learning at home will also be introduced.

(c) Annual Hotung Lecture 2021
Keynote Address:Self-Regulated Learning Skills for Gifted Students in the Talent-Development Process

Workshop Highlights:The lecture will introduce the characteristics of successful learning episodes that facilitates the transformation of talents and gifts into extraordinary achievements. During the lecture, the Speaker will share with participants on the optimal design and successful completion of a learning pathway, the self-regulatory approach that helps gifted learners gain better control of the learning process and the components of self-regulated learning that can be improved through practice and targeted training.
