Welcome to the Parent Zone!
“The child supplies the power but the parents have to do the steering.”

The Parent Support Division of the Academy seeks to provide parents with the insight, knowledge, skills and advice to nurture their gifted or high-ability children. To achieve this aim, we organise parent education programmes and have established the Consultation and Assessment Centre to provide parents with information and advice. We aim to take the journey together with parents for the growth of the gifted children.
- Parent Education Programme
Conferences, seminars and workshops are organised to enhance parents’ understanding of gifted education, strengthen their parenting skills and provide a platform where parents can interactively learn from one another.
- Consultation and Assessment Centre
The Centre provides free hotline and email consultation services as well as assessment and counselling services for a modest charge.
- Outreach Seminars and Customised Programmes for Parents
Schools and organisations are welcome to call 3698 4025 to make an appointment with us for free outreach introductory seminars about giftedness for parents. Customised workshops and consultation services for a modest charge are offered upon arrangement.
