Dear Educators and Parents
The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE) is pleased to bring together Hong Kong’s education leaders and parents in the Annual Hotung Lecture 2012 by Professor David Lubinski, a distinguished expert on gifted education.
The HKAGE recognises the significant role that education leaders and parents play in meeting the learning and the emotional needs of our bright students. One of our missions is to engage with education leaders and parents so as to support them in their efforts to nurture high-ability students.
We are delighted to invite Professor Lubinski to share his views on gifted education with our local education leaders and parents. Professor Lubinski is a professor of the Psychology and Human Development Department at Vanderbilt University, USA. He will share his insights in this annual lecture “Critical Questions in Talent Development: Answered Through 40 Years of Longitudinal Research by Study of Mathematically Precocious Youth (SMPY)”.
